Analysis of our original music video

• Very simple music video. Emphasis is on the artist Jessie J. Our video is more complicated and the main emphasis isn't on the artist.
• The bedroom as the setting makes her seem very innocent and angelic and reinforces the feeling of entrapment behind her lyrics. Our setting is also a bedroom but also we include scenes of the actress and artist walking down the street.
• Her clothes are very simple and understated which again make her look innocent and vulnerable. In our video although the actress will be wearing simple clothes, the artist will look more dressed up to draw attention to her and maintain the artists image.
• The rain fall is good as it symbolizes her washing away all these insecurities and being comfortable in her own skin. In our video we are going to have a scene where the actress leaves her bedroom and goes outside to symbolize her breaking free from all her insecurities.
• The fact that there is a simple mid-shot of Jessie J makes it easier for young girls to appeal to her and the music video. Because our video will have a story in it we will need a larger variety of shots to portray our story.
• The whole video is about Jessie J. Our video has a story line to it and there are more characters other than the artist
