Analysis of Who You Are - Jessie J
Originally my group and myself planned to do a 'Bedroom' scene through the video but it seems that Jessie J has beaten us to it.
However, we will still proceed with the 'Bedroom' scene but it will be slightly different. Saying so, in the actual music video Jessie J has constant eye contact with the camera and she is the only person featured in the music video. Now with the group discussions on what we will do it we decided feature the person covering the song and someone else in the video too.
Quite similar to Ludacris Ft Mary J. Blidge's - Runaway Love video. Were the music artists are featured in the video but the actors and actresses aren't aware of the fact that there in the video. I think this is such a strong idea to pursue in because, in a way it is dramatised but it looks very effective. Whilst Jessie J is either sitting on the bed in the video or sitting in the chair our video will definitely differ from that. Possibly there may be more movement in our take on the song 'Who You Are.' I also noticed in Jessie J's video that there isn't much camera angles which is something that my group and I will take upon to make different angles for this video to have a variety. I understand why there isn't much angles because perhaps the song is of a slow paste so maybe the producers and directors of the video shoot decided to make it like this. I like the simplicity of this video and how its been made.
