Planning for music video- 3 music videos that have influenced our final decision
Three music videos that have influenced our final decision
When planning our music video, we immediately got an idea of having the artist as an observer as opposed to a character. Even though she's going to feature in the video itself we want other people acting out the storyline. It will seem as if they're not aware that the artist is there with them. We found a video that had this idea and so we were inspired to do something similar.
Ludacris ft Mary J.Blige-Runaway Love
In this video we see the artist Ludacris in the same room as the little girl. The girl is not aware that he's there and so we were inspired to do something similar. The artist is an observer rather than a character. In our music video we hope to do the same, Emily who's going to be an artist will be observing the characters issue.
Christina Aguilera-Beautiful
We were also inspired by Christina Aguilera's-Beautiful, the amount slow motion editing in this video is effective as it follows the pace of the music. Our song choice is also slow and so we believed that having slow motion scenes would be effective.
Adele-Someone like you
Adele recently released her video. It's very simple but effective. The transitions in this video inspired us. The song is also slow and the transitions are done nicely. We intend to have similar transitions in our music video in order to change the scene.
