Laura Mulvery's Ideas on Representation

Mulvery's theory of that we see through a mans lense is some what true in a way. There are various types of music videos were there are video models who are displayed with not much clothes on which is very degrading in a way. It is said that most of the production crew are predominantly male which backs up Mulvery's point.
An example of Mulverys theory of 'Looking through a mans lense' would be Timberland Ft Justin Timberlake - Carry Out which displays video models in a very disturbing way because of how they are dressed, in lingerie with their breast and legs showed. Also there is a lot of 'Sexy dancing' which is shown in this video which makes the video slightly worst.
